How to add a link to your Instagram bio

Your bio is the one place where a link is always visible. A short, readable link looks tidy, is easy to remember and, with statistics, shows you whether your profile turns visitors into clicks. The same steps work for TikTok, YouTube, X and LinkedIn profiles.

Step by step

  1. Create a short link with a memorable ending. On the 0h.vc home page, paste your destination (your website, shop or booking page) and choose an alias such as yourname, so the link reads 0h.vc/yourname.
  2. Tag it so you can see where visits come from. Use the UTM link builder with source instagram, medium bio and a campaign name, then shorten the result.
  3. Add it to your profile. Open your profile, tap Edit profile, then Links, and add the short link. Menu names can change over time, but it is always in the edit-profile screen.
  4. Check the results. Open your 0h.vc dashboard to see clicks per day, countries and devices.

Why a short link beats a long one

Compare your posts, stories and reels

Create a different short link for each place, such as 0h.vc/yourname-story and 0h.vc/yourname-reel, each with its own UTM campaign. The dashboard then shows which one brings the most clicks, so you can do more of what works.

Take it offline

Put the same link on business cards, flyers or shop windows with a QR code. Because the QR code holds your short link, you can change the destination later without reprinting.
