A free Bitly alternative
Bitly is one of the best-known link shorteners. People look for alternatives for different reasons: pricing, limits on the free plan, a simpler tool, or more control over their own domain. 0h.vc is a focused option built around short links, QR codes and click statistics.
What to compare in any link shortener
- Custom endings. Can you choose a readable alias like
/spring-sale? - Your own domain. Are branded links available, and at what price?
- Analytics. Which details are shown (clicks, countries, devices, referrers) and for how long are they kept?
- QR codes. Are they included, and can you download them?
- Editing. Can you change the destination later without changing the short link?
- Limits. How many links can you create each month on the free plan?
- Redirect experience. Do visitors see an ad or a warning page first?
- API and exports. Can you automate link creation and export your data?

Where 0h.vc is not the best fit yet
0h.vc does not yet offer team workspaces with multiple seats, webhooks or deep enterprise integrations. If your company needs those today, a larger platform may suit you better. If you mainly need reliable short links, QR codes and clear statistics, 0h.vc may be all you need.
Moving over from another shortener
- A short link is served by the service that owns its domain, so existing links on another service keep working only while you keep that account. You can't move them to a new service.
- Use 0h.vc for new links from now on. If you keep a list of your destination URLs, the bulk import (Pro) can create many links at once from a pasted list or a CSV file.
- If you plan to use your own domain, set it up on 0h.vc first, so future links stay under your own name even if you switch services again. See branded short links explained.
Try it with no sign-up: shorten a link, or add campaign tags first with the UTM link builder.
Bitly is a trademark of its respective owner. 0h.vc is not affiliated with Bitly. Features of other services change, so check their current plans before deciding.
